A rock aficionado with a passion for geospatial technologies, I have practical knowledge in remote sensing, coastal processes, geochemistry, and identifying mineral compositions, whether it be in a lab or along a new hiking trail. I thrive in team-driven and collaborative environments, always one to throw myself headfirst into finding innovative solutions.
I have diverse fieldwork experience across varied landscapes, from Western US mountain ranges to east coast river channels and coastal environments. Fieldwork includes groundwater well-monitoring and installation, ground-based LiDAR research of riverbank erosion and comparison of 3D models, and the use of both modern and traditional geological and environmental field techniques. Swimming inside a volcano was merely an added bonus.
I’m an experienced drone user and beach-lover with a working bucket list of National Parks that I dream of exploring. I aspire to continue working with inventive technology to contribute to the field of Geology in meaningful and lasting ways.
